Proper Pork Lard

Our proper pork lard is one of the most fantastic products we get from our pigs. Gently rendered over many hours, to preserve the nutrients and flavour, from the fat from our woodland reared pigs.

These pigs have greatly elevated levels of nutrients due to their diverse and complex diet and have elevated levels of Omega 3's.

Lard is great for roasting, frying or can be used, as we do, to make beautiful pastry. Once a staple of every household, lard was unfairly labelled as unhealthy. We are keen to change this and bring it back!
